CAMPING’S ENVIRONMENT POLICY
The Management, being aware of the importance of the environmental protection is particularly involved in all the aspects of this sector, in fact we joined the MANIFESTO QUALITA’ AMBIENTE VENETO 2000 and we got the recognition of “LEONE D’ARGENTO”
The Camping’s environmental Manager is at your complete disposal at the Reception for solving every doubts about our environmental policy and for receiving suggestions that can help us to improve ourselves.
TAKE CARE OF OUR ENVIRONMENT
WATER
It is he most important resource, without it, we couldn’t live. There is a lot of water, but it is not unlimited and for this reason we shouldn’t waste or pollute it. Don’t forget to close water taps. Inform the Reception about leaks. Don’t throw water to the ground when mixed with soap.
ENERGY
Everything needs energy for working, but production, transfer and use of energy are costs for the environment. Avoid every unsuited use. Do not use too much warm water. Do not let your appliances in stand by. Use only low power consumption lights. Turn on lights only if it is necessary, and turn them off as soon as possible. Use the washing machine only when filled up with clothes.
NATURE
People interact with the environment, and impoverish it. For this reason, we must avoid contaminating our resources. Respect flora and fauna. Don’t throw waste to the ground. Try to keep the environment clean. Don’t light fire in open air.
PURCHASES
The production of goods we buy, causes different kind of pollution to the water, the air and the ground for this reason, we have to prefer ecological products. Choose products with “Ecolabel” trademark. Choose typical local products. Reduce the consumption of plastic and disposal products. Choose biodegradable products.
WASTE
We must reduce the production of waste. Choose products made by recyclable materials. Reuse bags and containers and do the recyclable waste collection.
COLLECTION OF WASTE
In our Camping we do recyclable waste collection. There are different containers in which you can put:
• ORGANIC MATERIALS
• PAPER
• GLASS AND CANS
• PLASTIC
• BATTERIES
• OLD MEDICINE
BULKY WASTE OR OTHER KINDS OF WASTE NOT MENTIONED IN THE ABOVE LIST ARE NOT ACCEPTED ON THE CAMPSITE.
The rest of waste must be put in the specific containers, which have the inscription “Secco non riciclabile”. You can have more information at the reception.
TRANSPORTS
The means of transport cause more than 50% of the pollution. For this reason, it would be better if you use bicycles or public transport. At the reception, you can have information about prices and timetables of public transport. There are free organized buses from the Camping to Canevaworld and Gardaland in high season.
PRIVATE NAVIGATION ON THE GARDA LAKE
At the reception or on the Navigarda website you can find all the information regarding the boats on the lake.
EXCURSIONS AND CULTURAL VISITS
We invite you to visit museums, exhibitions and art-galleries.
In the Garda zone the main historical periods are:
• Prehistory, Roman history and Medieval history
• Risorgimento age
Since a few years, you can visit fish, oil and wine museums in which you can see the local techniques. You can have more information at the Reception.
NATURALISTIC LOCAL ASPECTS
Clean water, sunny beaches and mild temperature, make the Garda Lake a unique zone, that enchants all tourists. In the ancient times the lake was know with the name of “Benaco”. The writer Catullo chose it for his living and he built a spectacular palace in roman style. The building is known as “Le grotte di Catullo” and you can visit it in Sirmione. Temperature, nature, architecture and the beauty of the Garda zone enchanted a lot of tourists of every time and several writers too.: D’Annunzio, Joyce and Goethe. For these reasons we recommend to visit our territories and respect the environment.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
The management checks the quality standards of our services with a customer satisfaction form that you can have at the reception. We invite you kindly ask you to fill it out and give it back at the reception.
BAGS FOR PURCHASES
The management invites you not to use plastic bags, and if it is not possible to avoid them we suggest you to reuse them for waste. The best thing would be to use cloth bags.
SAFETY FEATURES
One of the main goals of the camping is the guest’s security, and for this reason the Management has increased the frequency of the electricity and gas systems controls. We remind you to control the technical systems of your camper/caravan (gas, electricity, ecc…).
DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES
It is forbidden to take dangerous substances to the camping if you don’t really need them for living.
BIKE RENTAL
It is possible to rent bikes on the camping. You can have more information at the reception.
NO SMOKING
Smoke is harmful for everyone. We invite you not to smoke especially in all the facilities of the camping. We remind you that fires are often caused by ends of cigarettes.
EMERGENCY
In case of danger, on the camping map the gathering point is marked. When the loudspeaker announces it you have to go there. If you discover some dangers please inform the reception immediately. In case of danger, close every window and door (but do not lock them) and go to the gathering point.
In case of danger, assistance for disabled guest staying alone on the camping has been organised. This service requires the disabled guest to be checked in at the Reception. This service is for people who are:
• Deaf
• Blind
• People with broken limbs
• Elderly, pregnant women and infants

FOODS AND DRINKS – HACCP
The camping checks all facilities where foods and drinks are sold according to the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Control Point) Protocol and CE Directive Nr. 852/2004.
